I got my new rifle in today. I ordered it in June and the wait is finally over. I was thinking about canceling my order because it was so late past the initial stated arrival date, but I didn't feel right about canceling. It's a Tikka T3 Hunter Left Hand in 260 Rem. I was told only 3 Lefties were imported in 260 and I got one of them. The wood on it is nice, but I was hoping it would have better wood for the increased price I had to pay. Topped it off with a Zeiss Conquest 2.5-8x32. The rifle is well balanced and shoulders nicely. The bolt is slick as usual for a Tikka. I can't wait to shoot it this weekend. Here are some quick pics I took a little while ago. Maybe I can get a fence post pic in a couple weeks to add to the fence post thread. Any load info would be appreciated for 120 TSX, 125 NP, 129 IB, and 130 Scirroco.

Lucky bugger....

130 gr Accubonds with 46.5 grains of H4831SC works well in mine
They look alot nicer in wood IMO.Nice rifle in a nice chambering. Please keep us post on the results of your shooting.
Purchased from Euro Optic? that's a good outfit.
A lefty in an unusual caliber...neat! Let us know how it shoots.
Nice rig. I wish they'd import some right handed 260s.

+ 1000
I loaded some 125 gr NP and some 129 gr Hornady Interbonds. Going to the range tomorrow morning to see how these group.
Should be getting mine in 6.5x55 next week. If it shoots as well as my 595 in 7-08, I will be more than happy!
If Beretta/Sako/Tikka would bring in some Tikka's in lefty in 6.5x55 or 260 or some other calibers that aren't normally available here, I have a feeling they could sell some rifles.
yes , they would have one sold to me
