Just an FYI....on my scale..

The rifle bare weighs 5lb 10.8oz
Barreled action: 4lb 2.6oz
Stock is 1# 8.2oz
Bolt: 8.4oz

Talley 30mm Lows: 2.4 oz
Leupold VX6 2-12 17.8 oz

All up the rifle weighs 6lb 13.4oz

By comparison...my Montana in 280AI with a Zeiss Conquest 2.5-8 comes in at 6lb 9.8oz

First range session tomorrow morning...first load up is with the 150 Ballistic Tip.

Just took a look at the new Forbes online catalog for the first time since Forbes first appeared on the scene. I'll be saving for a 20-B all stainless in 7-08.This is a very exciting time for gun enthusiasts.

Why'd you trip the Kimber for the Forbes?

Well...range time was a wash out this morning.
