I'm looking for a lightweight compact slim stock pack for a couple of my hunting rifles. What I want is something to raise the comb just slightly and give me a pouch for a couple small things. Most that I've seen are too tactical for me. Are there any out there?

Might have to make it yourself, everything I've seen is for the tactical crowd as well.

pd, the one Ruger gives you when you buy the American to raise the comb is lightweight, nylon maybe, and tho I gave mine away because I'm L/H, if I remember correctly had a small pouch.

I never could like anything other than the Uncle Mikes neoprene shell carrier sleeve. I have them on single-shots and one on my truck rifle.

Cabelas has a decent one without the huge pouch on the side. Raises the comb about 3/8".
