Located a Cricket 22 for my 5 year old nephew. I thought it looked a little plain so I had to spruce it up a bit. grin

Hope to get to shoot with him soon. He's pretty good with his deer hunting game where he shoots at the tv screen with a plastic rifle. Guess it's getting about time for him to learn about the real thing.
Very nice! Krylon and webbing spray? Does anybody know if you can do this on a wood stock?

I've got a cheap model 7 stock I plan to cut down and paint for my daughter.

I used the same process on a wood 10/22 stock for a friend's daughter. I just used regular primer instead of plastic primer. It worked fine.
Do I need to sand and/or strip the glossy finish off first or just prime, paint, and clearcoat?
