Nice choice of rigs (in classic elk cartridges both) and country; I've been looking forward to hearing how you did.

Either of those have elk blood on em?

LOVE that .308. Pretty well a perfect all around rig.

Yes the .338 did the deed. Shot my first bull with it at 476yds, I'm beyond thrilled. I posted the story in the elk hunting forum. Heck of a hunt.

You're right about that. And if I remember correctly a .308 is what caused you to sell the '06 to me laugh laugh
