Can anybody tell me what a Rem 700 classic in 220 swift is worth? I would say it's in very good condition, dealer wants $559 for it with a Bushnell on top. I know the price is good, just wondering how good. Thanks

what model bushnell......it sounds about right if the scope is good quality...

Swifts eat barrels for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some calibler's you almost can't shoot out the barrel, but the 220 is on the other end of that spectrum as I understand it. I'd make sure it's not needing a new barrel for that price.

The 220 in a Classic was a limited run and a nice shooter . Check the barrel cond and go for it if good. Price is fair if you want it to use. These days if you use ball powders like H380 and 55 gr bullets, watch how fast you shoot it doesn't have to be a barrel burner.It took 3500 rds to shoot out my first 77V but the second one is still going on strong. Watch your behavior it will last fine. Magnum Man
