Fellow 'Fire Folks;
I was chatting with a friend from the Yukon the other night and he was mentioning he'd had a chance to look at a Fierce rifle - and I'd not heard of one up that point.

He was of the opinion that the fit and finish exceeded his Nosler rifle and from the information he'd got, the Fierce would be less money.

Anyway, here's a link I found when trying to research them.

If anyone has handled one I'd be interested in your thoughts on them. Thanks in advance and here's to a good March for you all.

I saw a few at the last gunshow I attended. Some things were nice others not so nice. I'm guessing you want to hear the negatives so here it goes.

My issues:
- barrel flutes weren't indexed
- stocks were lacking (some barrel channels weren't centered in the forend, some bottom metals didn't seem to fit nicely with the stock lines, off center swivel studs)
-the bolt knobs are ugly

Now to be fair, these were only the samples I saw, and they were all at the same table - maybe they were early production models, I can't say.

Thanks for the response, I appreciate it.

I'm just trying to learn about them and appreciate any feedback so thanks.

One would think that getting the little cosmetic details like centering the barreled action in the stock would have been a priority.

For me, when those details are off it gives me pause to consider what other, possibly more important details were missed.

Thanks again for the feedback and all the best to you this March.

Dwayne

Looks like a Sako clone

Damn near the same thing. Infact I would love to see one out of the stock, I bet some of the parts are sako.
I thought that I saw on Fierce's website that they were about $2250, quite a bit more than a Nosler Patriot.
Lame name/gen X ad copy. Not that it makes the rifle bad, but I don't think I'm in their target demographic.
