Hello guy's,

I hope your having a great fall so far.

I am looking for a very high quality leather rifle sling for my Sako Av 300 WM. I don't want an elaborately tooled and decorated sling. I just want very high quality leather, hardware and workmanship. I see lots of nice rifle slings on this site and wonder where you guys get yours ?

Thanks in advance.

+1 I also recently purchased a Bandera military(1907) style sling that I like very much.

Yep
Yep yep
Brownells Latigo
Turner's Saddlery makes a superb 1907-style sling in very good leather. Get it in one and one quarter (1-1/4") inch width, get some sling swivels to fit and learn how to use it. A tight sling in the sit or prone is a beautiful thing.

I use a montana sling.
Von Ringler makes a very nice 1 inch classic style sling. Have one on my Ruger no 1 405. Love it!

Is he the guy that killed Dracula?
No, that was Dick Van Patten

Ha! If he did he beat him to death with a piece of high grade leather:)
Seriously, check out Ringler Leather web site. Nice stuff.

or one of his NM slings
I have both Montana and Murray slings on my guns. Can't go wrong with either one. The last three I have bought have been Murray.
I started using Montana slings a couple of years ago based on recommendations here...
