Looking for a new stock for my L691 that currently wears a heavy richards laminate .

I usually prefer a more open grip, the sako hunter looks a little confined..Any input from users?

I had a McMillan Sako hunter on an L691.

Currently, I have a Remington 700 in a McMillan hunter.

The hunter stocks are a great pattern in my opinion, but the hunter has a more closed grip.

If I were looking to restock a Sako L691 and I preferred a more open grip, I would be looking McMillan Sako classic.

Thanks Dayton. The hunter and the classic were the two that I've been mulling over.

Utah's stock template thread is very useful.

The Sako Classic is on page 2 of the thread. The Sako hunter is on page 4.

I've got the Sako Classic w/edge fill on my A7. Couldn't be happier. Love it
