Gone is the palm swell and most of the 'ridges" and all the "checkering". Weight as pictured is 27.2 oz but do not have a before weight if someone could provide (with the lug, studs, and pad) it would be cool. Duracoat flat Tactical Black with black webbing for texture and to break up surface, and then red webbing, topped with Cerakote matte clear (air cure). Learned a couple things but don't see any issues with the modification, no loss of integrity or stiffness etc etc... This is from a SS 25-06. smile

Been experimenting with various textures... Below is a sorta speckled one. Will be trying out more variations and really do appreciate any feedback received.
