Yeah, that is a great deal. They're not worth what they initially cost (is anything) but they are worth that. They are super super light and have great ergos. And, yes, Melvin will work on them. He repaired the bolt in mine free of charge. He is a great guy.
What a score. Mine needed some minor tweaks like bolt lapping and polishing some burs off the feed ramp. But at that price you can't loose even if you re-barrel and let Melvin tune it up.
Really liking the 6.5. I haven't shot one since I was a kid and used a M38 with the bolt on the wrong side. Forgot what a well balanced round it is.
