At least you got out there at a distance that the round was designed for, unlike my experience last fall with a 26 Nosler.

I borrowed a friend's new 26 Nosler and went to a spot where shots are normally 250-300yds. Of course a doe walked out at 100yds. She ate good though!

Nice one BTW. I'd love to go hunt one of those someday.

Fotis, is that a factory 6.5 Wby, or did you have it made? Knowing you, you've got it shooting .25 MOA :-)

Think you can get that flyer back in the group...? laugh

Wby ammo is good stuff, it should be for what it cost.

Very impressive for a big boomer like that.

Controlled power...

I could be wrong, but is that a super sniper on top? Curious as to what power you went with for this rifle?

Nice pic and nice shot.

250-300 yards, LOL thats 308 range easily for me.

But isn't it funny you gear up for long and they walk out and sniff on you. Gear up short, and they are way on out there and no way to get closer... YMMV.

Fotis, you're quite right on that last p.m.!

Would you recommend a rig like your's for my brother in CO who's looking to thin herd and just pick one accurate long-range zapper to take all NA species?

He does have a .375 should he go for grizz and such.
Posted By: Fotis Re: First 6.5 mm bee kill - 09/28/16
I love mine and it took me less than 15 bullets to find the load. Nice adj trigger slimmer stock palm swell etc. They have changed the MK5 rifle quite a bit
