Thanks to the miracle of the interweb, I got a great deal on what I wanted - a M70 with a wood stock in .308. Someday (not soon), this baby will be my daughter's rifle.

Since I got a great deal on a Meopta scope, I put it on the new rifle until I find a 2-7 that I like.

Nice, I love a Model 70. I don't think that scope looks out of place, looks good.

looks fine I have one in 223 always thought it was one of the best looking rifles.
