How many rifles is a good number when down sizing? Several times I have only had one big game rifles and there are advantages to it for sure. I almost never sell anything.

What's this "down sizing" ? 30-06 to 7-08?

Downsizing is when the kids move out, the dog dies, and you decide you can fit 30+ years of "stuff" into a smaller house. Once you move in, you find out that the wife has to put her scrap booking gear in the basement because there is not enough room in the spare bedroom for her stuff and all your guns.

When she complains, you realize that the smart thing to do is give her the spare bedroom and you turn the garage into the multi-purpose air conditioned and heated man cave that you've always wanted with all your guns, reloading gear, hunting clothing, optics, and whatever that you had scattered all over your old house. You sacrifice, and in the interest of keeping costs down, you downsize from the desired 78" Samsung to one only measuring 65".

Dunno, but I'm almost down to a 223 and 308, with a 270 that just won't go away.
