I don't know how the rest of you pass the time during winter but when it comes to coyote hunting my winter just seems to fly by. I thought some of you might enjoy some recent pics.

Called this little guy in during deer season. Neat foggy/frosty morning.

Next up was this big male coyote. Called him in on a very quick stand right after work.

This coyote was actually called in for me by a fellow pro-staffer for Les Johnson's Predator Quest. Thanks Matt it was nice to let someone else do the calling for a change. You obviously can still fool them with that little Ruffidawg hand call.

A day or two later I was back to calling on my own as usual. Worked out well for me, but not so much for these two coyotes.

This is one of my favorite photos from just a couple days ago. It was a beautiful day to be out, calm wind, light fresh snow, and frost. Add one little coyote called in and it makes for a fun day.

Last but not least is this coyote from yesterday evening. As I sit here at my computer my vacation time is coming to an end soon. It made me realize just how fast time is flying by this winter. Hope some of you enjoyed the pics and that winter is being good to you as well.

I enjoyed them thanks! I've been waiting on a contractor for the last 3 days...one excuse after another. Hard to get anything done here.
Nice coyotes, beautiful country and photos, what caliber are you shooting???
WCH, using a 22-250 with 50gr VMax Superformance. It absolutely flattens coyotes. Fine by me as I don't like tracking stuff anydangway.
Great pics Troy! Those are very pretty coyotes..
Thank you for sharing.... beautiful country!!
Excellent pictures. Thanks
Pretty cool, great pics, thanks for sharing
That is just too cool! Great pics and shooting. What you doing with all the hides? The 50gr V-Max fur friendly?
Troy, what does the muzzle of the predator mike out at?
Congrats!
huntsman22, good question I'll have to go measure it and get back to you on that.
No biggie. I just wanted to know if it was their full varmint contour, or magnum, in the sporter style stock
Another M2D convert i see.
Huntsman22 if I had to hazard a guess I'd say a little closer to a magnum contour. Definitely not a full varmint contour.

Chapped lips, I've been an M2D fan for quite a some time and will continue.
way to go Troy...Love that country that you call..
I've been using Sparky's light cotton jacket and long sleeve t-shirts for around 5yrs.
Gonna try his fleece jacket and new lycra t's now.
Like I wasn't missing calling down there enough.

Nice work.
Nice coyotes and good work, or should I say, good play? Keep whackin' and stackin' 'em I missed one on Sun. at 500 yds. Long shot for me. Happy New Year.
Bob
Very nice pics!
Pretty, Pretty country. You are blessed.

Fire wood has gotta be a little expensive though... grin
Now that is a great post which should fall under the "how to post hunts and pics" topic.

Thanks for taking the time.
