What bullet would you pick for simply killing coyotes with a .243? Fur preservation is not a concern.
The 58 gr VMax works fine. I chose it for the 84M Montana as I was walking around quite a bit and ready for shots where ricochets were a concern.

Noslers 70 grain BT. DRT.
Hornady 87 VMax

Sierra 80 Blitz

70 gr. BT.
Thanks gents. It sounds like there are lots of great options.

+1
just got 1000 Speer 70 grain TNTs....

TNTs are always accurate... even much better than Speer's "Match Bullets" in my experience...
75 Vmax -
Sierra 85 grain HPBT..

If bucking the wind at longer distances is in the cards, run the above, especially the 87 VMax.
80g Sierra Blitz Boat tail, IMR 4064, Fed 210 primer.

This load massacres coyotes!

Agree.
The TNT's were an overlooked bullet for years.....they were inexpensive and extremely accurate. Glad i hoarded many of their plastic ammo boxs.
