It seemed so beautiful from far away....

Then it stole my heart (along with the rest of my vital organs)....

Nevermind, I found it.... how did it get way over there.....

That looks painful... grin

123 Amax at 2970 via 44 grains RE17... little over 200...

Only triple of the day.... I love nuking pups...

Did get stuck in a little traffic though...

what can?
SAS Ti Arbiter.... if you're a little sneaky getting in and don't get spotted, they have no idea where the shots are coming from once the shooting starts.

123 Amax at 3k in the 1-8" twist hits prairie dogs as hard as any combo I've ever seen... and I've toyed with a few.
I'm getting a can just for that same reason, should get it this fall, I reckon. I think the highest fling and longest hangtime for me was with 140's. Haven't even tried the 123's.
That one was about seven or eight yards from the mound she was on upon impact.... literally removed the skeleton and soft stuff.... skull, hide, and legs were all that was left. There was schitt for thirty feet in every direction, I couldn't stop laughing.

The meat report is awesome when you use the can, because you don't need to wear plugs.

140s do some great lifting, and I sent a few into groups of pups today... I call them the "bunker busters"....

This one was 140s...

Dang, that might be the ultimate rabbit rifle. You would never need a knife to gut them again... laugh
Damn, I did not know you could get Vmax performance from a 123 Amax. I used the 95Vmax in a .260 for a while and damn near decapitated a dog with one.
Dude, that's incredible. That's some serious oomph.

Travis
+1 on the 95 VMAX. I shoot them out of a Browning Low Wall in 260 at a shade over 3300. Pretty spectacular, although probably not any more so than Dogshooters 123 AMAX.

Don't even try them on coyotes if you have any intention of saving fur.

Great pics Dogshooter!
I bet the 100 grain Amax at 3300ish would do solid work too.... I've got a box, may have to see.

Speaking of coyotes vs. 123 Amax..... here's one.... it's my all time favorite pic.

And one of Mike's all-time favorites.... also courtesy of a 123 Amax...

Wish everyone could spend a day with one of these little 6.5's. Spectacular performance from dogs to deer.
Couple more 123 Amax beat-downs from today..... though these were outta Em's CTR .260. She ran it off the SFT all day.... and got pretty f'n good with it....

Heading out for PDs later this week and my pard is taking his 6.5 Creedmoor....anxious to see it on the killing fields.
I fired 4 shots outta the Creed today.... there were at least a half dozen casualties...

Right on glad to see all that green. I hunted coyotes up your way this winter and it was mighty dry and no grass. Looking forward to getting up there again this fall.

22" Tube... and RE17

Hell... if Alan can get 2900+ outta a 140 and an x47... 2900 outta a 123 in a bigger case shouldn't be an issue.
