Thought I'd toss a bone to a well deserving dog. I have a Ruger 77, in 7mm-08, with a boat paddle stock. For those who have never shot one, that stock is extremely efficient at transferring recoil directly into your shoulder! A couple of boxes, at the range, and your shoulder is tender for a couple of days, even with a non-spine relocator like a 7mm-08.

The pad, for that stock, requires an adaptor from the company, which they had in my mailbox within 3 days. It fit nice and snug, the pad went on tightly, and fit like it came from the factory. Flush & even.

Now comes the good part. 1st Round down range and all I could think wasWOW! Dramatic difference in felt recoil. It went from feeling like I was shooting a 30/06 to less than a 30/30.

$50-ish was well spent.

I have Limbsavers on all of my moderate-and-up recoiling guns! Great product! Right up there with sliced bread.
A friend had a 700 LVSF with a limbsaver, which turned "gummy". He called simms, Mr. Simms answered the phone, apologized for the problem, and sent him a new pad.
