Here's are some pics from the Land of Lincoln. I mentioned in my last update I hit Illinois, but didn't tell you about specifically. As I get closer back to Texas, the woods look more familiar. However, they are still different. Enjoy these pictures, and read about it here: http://wp.me/s3bCKM-illinois

So if you are looking to hunt in the St. Louis area, this wouldn't be a bad option. Any of you guys been hunting in Southwestern Illinois?
50 squirrels in 50 states....

I like that...

48 states would be cheaper..

wink
Good point. Are there squirrels in Hawaii?
And are there squirrels in Texas? What do they do, climb a cactus?

Very cool project. Looking forward to seeing a bunch of different backdrops.

Hawaii could be tough. I'm thinking of slipping a squirrel in my undies, could make for an interesting TSA pat down...

Lotsa squirrels in Texas...

TSA pat down would be Uber EPIC! grin

They have mongooses and they're unprotected. Might be as close as your gonna get!
Interesting goal. While I think it'd be fun, I'd be more inclined to try to get the squirrel slam... wink Like this guy.

Have to respect the slam. I'm fairly certain I'll be close if I get all the states. I'm really intrigued by getting the various color phases as well...
I wanna go to Arizona and shoot some Aberts squirrels.....
Coues buck, Javelina, Desert Bighorn and an Aberts Squirrel...the Arizona grand slam.
