Folks:

When you coat the bore shake the Bore Coat good then take the dropper cap off the bottle and pour it into another bottle or onto the patch.

The dropper top is filtering out the solids. If you've already coated you can clean with patches and solvent and recoat in this manner. We are changing the bottle in the kits now. It worked well when tested but after setting for awhile the solids clog the dropper cap and act as a filter. Sorry for the problem. We're correcting it as fast as we can. If you've used all the Bore Coat let me know and I'll get more to you.

Doug
What exactly does bore coat do?
Two things...

It provides a rust proofing, and it allows for a much easier cleaning...
I noticed this was on the Muzzleloaders threads, but I assume you mean all types of firearms. I used it on several smokeless rifles and it is all gone.
Just did mine this weekend. I use it on all my centerfire stuff as well and have been very happy. Good customer service as well by Doug.
thread only 2.5 years old... fwiw.
