guys i found a new in box knight disc rifle ,camo, blued barrel . what would you say its worth?
A quality ML run's $250-$500, so considering Knight is a fine ML I'd start with $250 and bargain from there. What are they asking? Which model is it?
Is it an 'Original' or 'Extreme/Elite'? That would be does it take the orange discs or Red? The red is easy to upgrade with a Legigh style breech plug. As was mentioned the exact model can give you a fair swing with prices. Especially if it's an Elite or Extreme, snatch it up.
I don't know in this area muzzle loaders don't bring hardly anything when selling them in a private party. I'd say $150-200 would be about what it's worth imo. You might get $250. Used, I'd say $100-150 and that's if it's got a cheap scope on it.

A buddy tried to sell his used Knight last year and tried asking $75 and couldn't sell it. Finally he started telling people he'd take $50, and it still took him several months to sell it. It's just crazy how little they bring.

If you look in the local classifieds papers, they are full of decent muzzle loaders for $75-150 and most of them have a scope. The Omega's and Encores seem to bring a premium, but even the Omegas I've seen from $200-225 for the stainless and camo model, which is a fraction of what they cost from the store.

Bows are the same way. Second hand primitive weapons seem to not have much value.
I think the new Knights demand more of a price than the used ones. I think they are fine rifles and shoot very well. My Dad has a Knight Stainless with the Orange disks that he wants $150 for but hasn't got any takers. Hope this helps.

A clean stainless 'Original' Knight disc is a nice gun, much better that many of the low quality stuff I see for sale. I think $150 would be a great buy. My son says the 5 Knights I have are enough though, so I don't need another.
the guy has a new in box bushnell camo dusk to dawn scope with it and want 300.00

gun has bullets in the box and 100 disc,i think it shoots red ones.
300 is way over price IMO.

I think so too. While it does have a scope, it's a pretty cheap one. If I was going to buy it and really wanted it $250 is the absolute max I'd pay, and I'd not want to pay that.
i was thinking more like $175 - $200 tops LOL.
Knight rifles are back in production and your not going to get one anywhere near $300.00

A new Disc Extreme starts at $549 unscoped.
I sold a nice used disk Extreme last fall. The rifle was SS, thumbhole stock with Black Ice coating on barrel and action, equipped with Warne quick detach mounts. I got $250.
I would love to get anywhere near that for mine.

It might be area dependent.
