Got the opportunity to pick up a new barrel for a CVA Hawken style flintlock eal cheap and would like to use it to replace one off my TC Hawken.Other than the flat measurement being the same,anybody know if they will interchange ?
Highly unlikely.
The following things would have to match:
-stock inletting
-width across the flats
-position of the touchhole on the barrel
-shape of the breech "hook" to engage the tang
If you want a replacement for a TC Hawken barrel, check with Green Mountain barrels, or trackofthewolf.com
Otherwise, you're going to be doing a lot more gunsmithing than whatever value you'd save picking up an inexpensive CVA barrel.
No they will not interchange. Different breech style set up and the tang is different.
You can pick up a cva hawken stock pretty cheap on ebay, so it sounds like you just gotta get one and the other parts and have yourself a good time building it up!
