I recently acquired a 700ML in very good condition. I know nothing about these muzzle loaders. I have some questions about it. Please look at the pictures and tell me what kind of primers I should use and any other advice about what I need to be aware of. Also, just wondering what loads I should start off with. Also, what kind of scope mounts do I need? Will any that fit a Remington 700 work?? Is this the proper nipple that you would use? How do I take the bolt apart for cleaning? Etc...Thanks for any feedback and observations. John

I also have no special tools for it. Do I need anything special to remove the breach plug for cleaning?

Yours appears to have a 209 breech plug, something I didn't see when I skimmed the manual online. Someone else will have to explain that for you.

209 primer, 100 grains or less of powder, some cross fit of parts but not many, it should be standard 700 mounts, I forget bolt tear down, check the manual.

These have become favorites for a Smokeless conversion.

It appears to have a 209 conversion used in the standard 700ML breech plug. I probably have some of the tools and a manual that I could send you. PM me where to send if you need them.
