Can anyone help if I email pics?
One way to find out.
No Thompson Center gurus?
Post a couple of pictures. If you can't do that, PM me and I'll send you an email address you can send them too.

No guarantees, but I'll take a swing at it.
The picture ain't great, and doesn't show the whole stock, but while the hammer spur and trigger guard look like a TC, the extra action screw and escutcheon are like nothing I can remember seeing on a TC. Honestly, the stock doesn't appear to be made of walnut, but rather birch or sycamore and the finish is not very good. I can't see the tang either, which would ordinarily be visible, at least the screw, from that angle. A full-length photo from the right side would be more helpful.

Sent a PM as well.

The trigger guard is wrong for a T/C Hawken rifle, and the wood is looking more like a CVA kit stick.

I think the hammer ear is too long and thin for the T/C lock, I'd bet this is a CVA Hawken stock with a DYI finish on it.

I think you got it right. T/C used Walnut, this appears to be stained birch or maple of some sort.

No one said it was a T/C stock, picked it up over the weekend and wasn't sure what it was.
