This from monday! My brother in law was able to take a darn nice muley on the last day of his hunt.

Traditions Hawken Woodsman, .50cal, 1:48 twist, 90gr Pyrodex RS, CCI #11 Cap, 160gr Reduced Recoil Thor Sabot.

Shot Distance: 86 yards, open sights and off hand.

The buck with no head, hide or legs (removed at the elbows/knees) The buck dressed out at 150lbs at the butcher. He estimated the bucks live weight at 300lbs.

Hes a great buck though! We certainly didn't expect this at all due to hot weather and lack of deer. The wind we had that day, pushed deer and elk down out of the rim rock, into the valley where they could get out of the wind and feed in the little parks between the smaller mountains.

I will have my brother in law type up his side of the story since it was his hunt.

Very nice!!!!
Nice 'un!
Congrats on a cool buck.
Nice buck and rifle! Love to see the old-school muzzle loaders gettin it done.
Dandy with the smoke pole
Nice buck, but that sure looks like a 3x3. Word to the wise: in the west where mule deer live the eye-guards are not included in the point count.

Tom
I was able to get out and chrony the load he used. 90gr Pyrodex RS and the 160gr HP Thor sabot was running 1,827 FPS.
WOW!
Yeah, the title says it all, "Traditions Hawken Woodsman hunt".

Again nothing but a shameless plug by a paid a$$hole for a POS rifle.......
once more, you are falsely accusing me.
Do you forget that I got you to admit in the past that you were in fact compensated?

In the last 6 years, I've never been paid by CVA nor any company to write a review on an item or accept money for product promotion.
