Can anybody give me the name of the new mine North of Lake Clark? What are they going to mine?

There is more than one company involved and each has its own name. It will be a huge project regardless. One of the biggest players is calling it the "Pebble Project" IIRC.

It is to be open-pit and involving just the rim of a HUGE caldera. Gold is the primary, but silver is also very big. IIRC molybdenum is also on the menu.

Projected start-up is in the next 5 years and will likely involve split-shift work living out there and being returned to Anchorage for time off.

I suspect it will be a lot like Prudhoe Bay was in the early years with a lot of "can to can't" shifts. (show up when you can take it and leave when you can't take it anymore) A week of 7-12s is probable and the money should be quite good...
