Looks like our first official snow fall has arrived. Snowing pretty good here right now.

What part of Alaska are you in? My brother in law used to live in Wasilla. He's a native. He and my sister live about 10 miles from here.
I'm in Eagle River, about 20 miles or so from Wasilla.
Just a dusting in Eagle River when I left this morning. Looks like the South end of town got the bulk of the snowfall, hillside has a good 8" or more.
Only 6 wrecks so far in anchorage. Not bad for a first snowfall.
No pileups on the Glenn either, that has to be a first.
I don't know how big Wasilla is or Eagle River, but my brother- in-law's family name is Nelson. I know it's a fairly common last name, but I'm curious if you or Watch4bear might know any Nelsons up there.
