Ted,
Keep in mind that those of us over 60 get free HFT license and it doesn't have to be renewed every year.

Ain't it grand?

wink
I've had mine for a long time and I'd gladly go back to paying if that's what it takes to curb abuse. I'm seeing old phardtz return from AZ each summer to get salmon etc on the never expiring license.

I've proposed to several legislators that it being printed annually with PFD application as other resident licenses should be a pick and click choice. Currently we have a pile of people buying the "low income" license for $5 while the other hand is taking a $2K PFD.

ADFG could be completely self sustaining if not for all the loop holes. Increased license and tag income begets more 3 to 1 matching Pittman Robertson funds also.

Not a bad idea, linking it to the PFD application.

The free license requires one to maintain AK residnecy, I thought... would not mind seeing some folks getting caught.
