That's not uncommon at all. I've done it maybe 20 times myself. The plane might of landed there on wheels and had the floats installed or it might of landed there on the floats in some turf or something, maybe snow. Won't hurt them at all. It's not done in normal operations, but it's not uncommon after getting floats installed.

I saw that plane last summer on floats in northern SK. Looked it over pretty good and I think it's had floats on it for some time.
It looks like the plane was just sitting on the trailer without any tethers or some device to release once it attained "launch sped".
If you look closely, in the early part of the video while "taxiing" there are straps across the front of the float. Once they're on the runway, they're gone.
