I noticed that after Hodgdon acquired Western Powders, the Norma powders have disappeared from that line.

I don't know for sure, but these days would guess many European ammo and powder companies are pretty busy producing military stuff. Which is why the IMR Endurons disappeared from Hodgdon's line-up: The Canadian powder manufacturer that produced them had to fulfill military commitments.
