Will such ever exist?

IE, zero the primary crosshair at 200

Shoot at 300 and set a secondary stadia

Shoot at 400 and set 3rd stadia

Purely a pipe dream???
And...
I want this in a dead reliable 11 oz scope...
I think the potential for better accuracy and reliability always exists when you can replace mechanical systems with digital/electronic ones.

What you describe is possible. All it takes is time and money.
Have you ever read about the Burris Eliminator Laserscope?

It's only been around for about 15 years.

Never til now. Quite the device, probably. Makes me feel out of touch that I never heard of it.

I got a buddy. Great guy, serious hunter and fisherman. Way more so than me. Multiple moose, two bull elk, Black bears, blackbuck, hogs, and aoudad, and many, many whitetail.
He called me a couple of weeks ago to talk about a problem with his 700 ADL .222. It went off while he was aiming at a coyote, when he pushed the safety forward.
I asked him if it had the original Walker trigger. He'd never heard it called that. He didn't know that Remington had closed it's doors.

Maybe I'm better off not knowing about things like these...

But an adjustable reticle sure would be handy...
Especially one that could be adjusted with a knob on top of the scopeā€¦ grin
If I'm hunting, and feel the need to touch a scope knob, I screwed something up and need to start over.
Seems to me if I recall even close to correctly that in the days of the TV widefield eyepiece Redfield offered a reticule with multiple cross wires at fixed relationships - not individually adjustable - but visual distance between cross-wires varied with adjustable power settings. Maybe I'm remembering an accu-range widget. There are crossbow scopes with multiple relatively short range settings.

Today's shortage of custom shop items and independent repair/modify shops is sad but the quality and variety of optics in the marketplace has never been greater
And to successfully hijack this thread (with pipe dreams), I'd also like for Sako to bring back the L461 action in stainless, please?
