JB, way back, around 2003, I purchased some 8x42 ProMaster Infinity Elite binos (from Doug at CameralandNY), largely as a result of your positive comments about them as a good quality, moderately priced bino. I still use and enjoy them. I have been thinking of getting some 10x42 binos and was wondering what you regard the modern equivalent is - a moderately priced, but good quality 10x42?
One of the best bargains I've tried in recent years is Burris's Signature HDs.
Thank you, I will have to check them out.
You can get Vortex Vipers for $299 and 10% off of that if you have a Cabelas card and order on Monday from Cabelas with free shipping in the USA (Not sure what it will cost to ship to NZ or if Cabelas has a store there?). If you are looking for a bino that punches way above it's price tag then this is worth a look.
I would go back to Doug at cameraland as far as I know I've gotten the best bang for my buck from them.
