since i just can't come up with the cash that the "Old Rifle Scopes" book demands these days i'm asking for Old Gunsights And Rifle Scopes book for fathers day. my question is this, is there some info in the first book that does not get covered as well in this new one that seems to be a combination of his first two books? or do i still keep a look out for the first book as well to add one day? i'm not looking for collecting purposes just personal info needed.
Hi Jim

I don't know how tight your budget is, but you can get a new copy of Old Rifle Scopes for $40.89 plus $3.99 shipping from Here (Apex books via Amazon)

I don't save any money buying used books -- I just buy 2 or 3x more of them by bying used ones! smile

John that link takes me to the new book Old Gunsights & Rifle Scopes, not the first book Old Rifle Scopes. i have my wife getting me the one your link list for under 25.00. the original first book as not been in print for some time and i have not found anywhere that has new copies of them for sale. but more important i'm wanting to know how well the new book compares to the first book.
better price even yet

Hi Jim

Sorry -- I guess I cut and pasted the wrong title into my book search.

I will watch this thread -- maybe find a new place to buy used books! smile
