Hi, anyone used either on cape buffalo or other dangerous game? I've only shot a 450 lb. feral hog at 8 feet with my 500 Jeffery so far. A 570g TSX at 2300 fps between the eyes penetrated the length of his body and liquified his insides, but that's just fun not a real test. I'm loading both TSX's and A-Frames at the moment, both shoot real well at 2300 fps.
I doubt if you could tell the difference. There are many other random factors such as bullet placement and whether or not the heart was full of blood or empty.

I shot a buff with a .458 and it took two more shots to knock it off its feet. Later, I knocked one down with one shot from a .375. Is a .375 better or did the .375 just hit a better place?
A 50 caliber lugnut will probably do the job.
I'm no Gunwriter, and haven't even been to Africa yet, but I would think it would take a very MIGHTY beast to be able to tell any difference in the killing power between those two bullets.

If I had any lingering doubt, I would go with the most accurate and plentiful of the two.
