I am intrigued by this caliber from SRC - Sharp Rifle Company - seems it will have great usefullness both for varmints and for game.

And Broadsword Group www.broadswordgroup.com has announced uppers in this caliber for AR type rifles with a new improved bolt.

Anyone have experience with the uppers or the caliber?

Just how different is that from the .25 TCU?
The TCU family had steeper shoulders. It looks more like Wooters' old .25 Copperhead. As you go up in bore diameter, it is harder to keep OAL short enough to work in an AR platform.

I built a 6 TCU on a Mini mauser, and shot a 7 TCU out of a TC during my metallic silhouette days. Out of the 6 TCU I got 85 gr bullet going about 2800, IIRC, but I also saw leaking primers at not much above that.
25x45 is nothing new. Do a search on ar15.com.

Wow, what progress! Who'd have thought that after the Grendel and LBC were such poor performers that they could just use .008" less bullet diameter and it would be a slam dunk! Seriously, it is annoying when a company touts the ballistics of a new round and then doesn't make the length of barrel that produced those ballistics. That is a snowjob.
