I am wanting to duplicate the Buffalo Bore load below.

HEAVY 327 FEDERAL Ammo - 130 gr. Hard Cast Keith (1300fps) - 20 Round Box

PRESS RELEASE FOR BUFFALO BORE 327 Federal 130gr. Hard Cast Keith
(ITEM 37B)

This 130gr., hard cast, 327 Federal load, is the direct result of customer request for such a load. It is designed primarily as an 'outdoor' load as it penetrates deeply and does not expand. It will perforate a large bear's skull and will also serve well for any application that requires very deep penetration. This load utilizes flash suppressed powder, so the shooter will not be blinded by his own gunfire should he need to fire in low light situations.

I have found the same bullet Buffalo Bore uses (Rimrock Bullets) and was hoping to find a "FLASH SUPPRESSED POWDER" as Buffalo Bullets uses.

My question, Does anyone know what (pistol) powders are flash suppressed? That can be used in the 327 Federal Magnum or 40 S&W?

The only flash suppressed powder I have ever used (knowingly) was a military surplus powder 2200 from pulled AK 7.62X39 rounds.
It worked beautifully in a short 16" barrel AR I had.

The use of "flash suppressed powder" is very interesting and can be practical.

AA in the appropriate numbers work pretty well.
Noted, thank you.
I've read the CFE is also, but can't comment first hand.

AA 9 should be good in the 327, guessing 5 for the 40.
CFE Pistol and AutoComp are flash suppressed, position insensitive.
