I've looked at the Nosler website and was looking at their rifle line-up.Being "traditional" I like blue steel and walnut over synthetic and silver. Their model 48 Heritage (could be wrong, but wood stock, black finish on barrel), looks pretty sharp to my eye.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them, as far as fit, finish and function.
I'm down to two 30/06's and may need another.
nick,

I've shot a couple of Heritage rifles extensively, and in fact have one on hand right now for various tests. The fit and finish is good and both rifles have shot very well. The stocks are bedded just like the synthetic-stocked models, with epoxy and pillars on the action, and a free-floated barrel. The walnut on both the rifles I've shot has been pretty nice too!
Thanks John, they do look nice. Plus I like their bullets!
Just received my Heritage this week - I'm thrilled! Beautifully built with stunning wood.
I have a Nosler Trophy Grade rifle. They are a lot of rifle for the money; and, mine is a tac driver.
