Many of the magazines formerly owned and published by Harris Publications - including Combat Handguns, Survivors Edge, Tactical Weapons, The New Pioneer, ballistic, and Guns of the Old West, are now owned and being published again by Athlon Outdoors (athlonoutdoors.com). Some former staff members from Harris are now with the new company, including Editorial Director Nini Bosaz and Editorial Assisstant Richard Ortega - to mention two I had dealt with before with Harris. Athlon also recently released an impressive premier issue of an annual - The Complete Book Of Revolvers.

I, for one, am happy to see these publications back in business, and wish the new company all the best of success!

Interesting news! I wish them well too. Always enjoyed working with Nino Bosaz.

JR Sundra did a ton of work for Harris.

His Rifle Mans Annuals were some of my favourites.
Made me a huge fan of the 7mm caliber. Annual repitition of the same mantra. 7mmJRS was my intro to wildcats.

I heard he was getting involved with some tactical titles from them.
or is he retired now ?
