To my knowledge John (not Jon) Snow doesn't post on the Campfire, but I'm scheduled to go on an elk hunt with him this fall, along with at least one other Montana hunting/shooting writer, who's a member but doesn't post anymore--and hasn't even logged on since 2012. Will ask John Snow about the Campfire then.

I lost all interest in reading anything by John Snow after he published his idea of the ideal Zombi gun....it had rocket propelled arrows if I recall correctly. I grew up reading JOC. He was followed by Jim Carmichael. I learned a lot from them. Outdoor life has been dumbded down to the point where it is no longer worth reading.

I like his work. You don't have to love or even agree with every article to enjoy a writer
