I bought several boxes of Speer hot-cor 235 grain bullets to load in my 375 Ruger for deer but I can't seem to locate load data for this bullet. I bought the latest speer reload manual and the 375 Ruger isn't even listed in it so I called speer and they informed me they haven't even tested loads for it yet.

I can find data for a 235 grain barnes but no traditional bullets. Anyone have any data?

I used the the same charge of Big Game with the 235 gr Speer as I did with the 260 gr Accubond which was 80 gr. I'm sure you could go higher easily but both bullets shot well at that level. If you work up carefully with data for the 250 gr Sierra or 260 gr Accubond you will be fine. The 235 gr Speer is a surprisingly tough bullet by the way......

Hornday's 9th editon reloading manual has load data for 375 Ruger with their 235gr. InterLock SP-RP. Powders are:
IMR 4064- 66.3grs. min. - 74.8 grs, max,
Alliant RL-15- 68.8grs. min. - 79.5 grs. max.
Varget -66.0grs. min. - 77.3grs. max.
Vint N-140 - 70.6grs. min. - 78.7grs. max.
Win 760 - 76.0grs. min. - 87.9grs. max.
Using WLRM primer.
C.O.A.L 3.250"
This will get you started with the 235gr. bullet loading.

Those loads are for their 225 Grain interlock and for their 220 grain flat point bullets. Hornady does not produce a 235 Grain 375 bullet.

I would think I could just reduce the loads by 1 full grain of powder and it should be right about where it should be though.

Thanks, I think I will pick up some Big Game and give it a try.

With the 235 gr Speer's I don't think you will get in any trouble working up with data from similar bullets, it won't be hard to get it up to around 2700-2800 fps which is a good place for a cup and core bullet to be. Good luck.
The Lyman Reloading Handbook 49th edition has data for the 235 gr Speer.

I would just start with data for the H&H and go from there.

It's a good little bullet. I load it in the .375 H&H. Accurate, and hangs together better than anticipated.
