I'm looking at a Ruger RSM in 458 Lott. I had one for several years, liked it and shot it a fair amount but wound up trading it when I decided I wanted a DR for elephant.

As I'm really a bolt action guy at heart and may have one more Africa trip left in me, I'm looking at an RSM. NIB, factory fired only, original owner, typical RSM wood. Definite sales price shipped $1800. Good deal or pass based on your knowledge of current price?

I like these rifles a lot so probably not as objective as I might OTW be in this circumstance. So looking for input from my 24HCF big bore aficionado loony friends to keep me levelheaded. smile

That is about what I see them for, generally $2k NIB with decent wood.

Yes, that's a good price on a NIB RSM. Great safari rifles.
