What would be a fair price for a used gun with a few scratches? I know it isn't a controlled feed. Have a chance to buy one. Thanks to all, Perry
Well, I bought it anyway...now trying to figure out what it's made of. Remington Custom shop is closed this week because of the Sturgis bike week. I can't tell who made the stock, but I like the way it fits.
It'll be a shooter as well. I've had 7-10 rifles from the Custom Shop over they years, and they've all been great shooters. Don't worry about CRF...that rifle will get the job done.
So far, HS Precision and B & C say the stock isn't theirs. Waiting on McMillan. The barrel only has the caliber and some other small markings on it. This thing is a beast. Measures .870 at the muzzle.
One in the Cabelas gun rack in Marysville, or was anyway. Don't recall the price, but is was fairly steep.
Thanks for the response Mad. I'll check it out.
I paid $1,095 for a blued one with an aftermarket muzzlebrake one off the used rack a number of years back.

I had it coated with cerakote and have used it on multiple hunts in Alaska.

It is a legitimate one hole gun with several loads.
Thanks AK. I checked out Cabela's and they have several.
