Stumped the general forum but hoping someone on here can help. Film showed two large, short barrelled, dog ear doubles. Wondering if anyone can identify what they were. Make/caliber, etc.. Details on the film can be found online but they do not cover the rifles.

Similar but the wood was not nearly as good. Also, barrels looked shorter to my untrained eye. From 1931 the picture resolution was not that good but the stock looked very chunky to me?

UPDATE: Just saw a video on an auction in Maine last year, where they had several 4 bore double rifles for sale. Also had a box of ammo for one of them and that was the clencher for me. Looked the same as what they were using in the film. Thus, I am fairly sure they were carrying 4 bore, black powder or nitro, double rifles.
