Looking to get a die set for my new 416 Ruger.
I'm leaning towards the RCBS because of the price and I can also get a Tapered expander/decapper to make 416 brass from 375 brass if needed.
Are the Hornady or Redding die any better ?

I am not sure if Redding is better, but that is what I have for the 416 Ruger and most everything else.

Don't know that the Redding is better than RCBS. My 404 Ruger (0.423" diameter bullet) is a Redding they bored out to the correct diameter for me. However, my 404 Jeffery die is an RCBS that they made a tapered 375-416 expander plug so I can use 375 RUM cases.

Both work equally well as far as results of loaded ammo. If price is the most important factor the RCBS might be the way to go. BTW, Redding will also provide/make you a tapered expander plug if you decide on them.
