AW got its start in the next town over.
The one here local was owned by a very nice Armenian family that belonged to our church. They sold it in the early 90's back to the corporation which tore it down and built a KFC.
You used to be able to purchase the fresh root beer in milk gallon jugs straight from the tap for parties and such.
Was able to take my oldest there to the actual drive in with car hops to get the root beer floats.
