Ice cream! Waiting on a trial batch to firm up just that last little bit.

Made a syrup by chopping up a bunch and cooking over low heat with sugar until it turne dto mush. Added nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla extract (real Mexican stuff), a dash of brandy, lemon juice and zest and a big shot of concord grape jelly.

Has a Christmas sort of flavor with all the cinamon and nutmeg... Grayling does not appear to be excited about the stuff... But I am thinking I like it!

Well, it is good! Grayling disagrees... Reminds me of pumpkin pie because I was a littl eheavy-handed with the nutmeg and cinnamon as I suspected. Miss T says it reminds her of strawberry and raspberry... She did not complain.
