This is something my wife and I dreamed up a couple of years ago. They are damn tasty and you guys may want to give them a try.

2 Large baker size potatoes peeled, halved and cut into 1" pieces

3/4 stick of butter or margarine (butter is better)

1/4 cup parmesan cheese

1/4 cup flour

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp course ground black pepper

Melt butter or marg. in a 9x13 baking pan. Place all dry ingredients in a zip lock bag and toss. Add potatoes and toss to coat well with dry ingredients. Arrange potatoes in pan and sprinkle with some more of the dry ingredients. Bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from oven, turn all potatoes and sprinkle with more of the dry ingredients. Return to oven for 30 more minutes. I'm sure you will love them.

I make potatoes something like that for our family. I use a lot of hot Hungarian Paprika, but have not tried Parm cheese. Great idea!

We do something similar with olive oil, rosemary and garlic. I'll have to add a bit of flour to the mix to try it.

the flour makes it a tiny but 'crusty', or crisper. That is a good technique.
