Hard to find this real Hungarian hot paprika. At this price on the 6 tins, I figured I could share the wealth and anybody who wanted to could get in on it inexpensively and not get hurt.

http://www.amazon.com/Hungarian-Paprika-5-Ounce-Tins-Pack/dp/B000H25W2C

Comes out to about $4.55/a 5 oz tin.

Happy to share, if anybody else wants one.

If you are ordering a 6 pack and want to part with one I will send money smile I don't need 6 tins though.

Have you tried www.myspicesage.com ?

Keith,

As I have offered before, let me know what you want and I will ship it. I am now home in Texas, easy chitt. Really.
Keith,
I bought 6 tins, so I could share with my friends and others, and they could get in on this, if they want. I will send you one in the tin at my cost.

Yes, I have checked that website http://www.myspicesage.com/. Nice stuff there, too.

Maybe Ed has something better.
I still have a good quantity in the freezer at home. When I run out, I have close friends in Hungary, that would be willing to send over a tin or two.
That's a nice connection to have!
As I understand, there are about 10 different types.

Your friends can probably pick and choose exactly the blend you want!

Have any of you used Eros Pista Hungarian paprika paste? Amazing...
selmer, I have not. Tell us about it, please.

Eros Pista is a hot Hungarian pepper paste. Great peppery paprika flavor and is fantastic as a sandwich spread with a good mayo and makes an amazing Hungarian goulash. We by it by the case (6 pack of jars) and it keeps pretty much forever in the fridge. I go through about one a year. It hits the spot when you want something nice a spicy without any vinegar flavors or scents. A buddy of mine that spent a year in Germany studying put me on it during seminary. And this sounds a bit crazy, but when I get a craving (rarely) for a bologna sandwich, this stuff just lights up the flavor. smile
