Good morning folks.
The good wife is starting a couple of loaves of bread using a recipe from the Sunset Country cookbook, and using cracked rye.
I'll try to let you know how it turns out.
Richard, any time's good to crack a Rye !
Stop over for a fresh slice Paul.
We are in Wabigoon.
Richard - enjoy the north. Robert was over to lower our built-in oven for the wife and we were thinking that the walleyes at Sturgeon River are probably wondering where we went in July.
If you get ahold of some rye flour, I can give you a recipe for Swedish rye bread from the Albert City cookbook that is beyond wonderful. Buttered slices along with some chunks of summer sausage is just too good for an ordinary person like me.
Best, John
