I have been looking into vintage cast iron and have been thinking about buying either a Griswold or a Wagner cast iron skillet. Does anybody have recipes and suggestions how to season them? Also if you have any for sale please let me know
look through the forum here. We do cast iron quite often. Doubt anyone here is selling any though.
I clicked on my link and it didn't give the cast iron search for the 'Fire it was supposed to.
Use the link and enter 'cast iron' and you will get the links on the 24HCF.
IB and 284 nailed it. Those are your huckleberry.
After you clean it..

Thanks everyone for all the info
I have several starter/low end pieces that I plan on burning off and putting a coat of oil on in the next few weeks. They have been pretty much neglected for the most part. I will take pictures of a before and after with my camera.
If anyone see's one they might like I can send it their way for the cost of shipping. I think one piece is a birmingham stove works and there may be a tiawan or two in the mix.
I'm interested, please send me some pics.
